Get to know Miss Lorrell:

Lorrell joined the AE team in 2022 (we think!) but it feels like she has been with us forever! She keeps everyone at the academy laughing and smiling!!

You will often find her having a chat with Miss Abi and running away from TikToks!

Where did she train?

Lorrell trained for a dance degree at Sunderland University in 2011 for 3 years. She then did a PGCE to teach in primary schools, so when she is running to get to classes, just know she rushed to be there for you!

What is her biggest achievement/experience in the industry?

“My greatest achievement in the industry is going on tour around the UK!”

“Along with the other people on my dance degree, we toured around the UK performing our dances in theatres for the general public and it was a memorable experience I’ll never forget!”

What do you love about AE?

Lorrell loves that the dance school has a family feel to it. She enjoys coming to dance to have fun, making memories for the students.

Why dance is important to Miss Lorrell…

Dance allows Lorrell to express her emotions without needing to verbally communicate them and it makes her feel better whenever she has a bad day.

Random fact!

Miss Lorrell actually danced with Diversity! This dance group rose to fame after dancing on BGT and winning in 2009. How lucky is Miss Lorrell to have danced alongside them?!
